Communicating Without Words
Make a circle with the other players and try to communicate with each other without saying a word. The first player mimes a sentence to the second player, the third one lip-reads the sentence as understood by the second, etc. The final player has to say the sentence out loud as they understood it.
Can’t See!

Make a documentary
Turn yourself into a journalist by carrying out interviews on the streets and/or spotting inaccessible places in buildings, parks and other venues. You could then write articles on accessibility for your school’s magazine by using these examples. You could also film the interviews and venues and show it to your classroom.
Send your article to: abilitytogether(at)hi-uk.org
The best extracts will be published on the website.
